In what area of the world can we find more vegetarian people, and why is that?

You can find more in India and in East Asia.
1) India is about 30% Vegetarian due to Hindu teachings of ethical treatment towards animals. With the abundance of spices, herbs and aerable land, there is a bountiful selection of vegetarian food.
2) In east Asia, Taiwan reigns a high vegetarian at 14% due to Buddhism/Taosim teachings of ethical treatment towards animals. With the abundance of spices, herbs, tropical climate, and aerable land, there is a bountiful selection of vegetarian food and fruits/vegetables.
3) Tel Aviv, Israel is known as the “vegan capital of the world” as it is 13% vegetarian/vegan.
4) Other countries with a high vegetarian population are:
Switzerland and Brazil around 13–14%.
